In 2015, CapitaLand Investment (CLI) first established its presence in the United States with a hotel acquisition located in New York’s Time Square through its listed lodging trust, CapitaLand Ascott Trust (CLAS). This was followed by the acquisition of a substantial multifamily portfolio for CapitaLand Investments in 2018. Since then, CLI has successfully built a diverse portfolio spanning 19 major metros and has established a strong reputation and track record in the United States.
