CapitaLand Investment (CLI) began investing in industrial real estate with the merger of CapitaLand and Ascendas-Singbridge in 2019. CLI currently manages more than 200 properties worldwide across South Korea, Japan, Australia, China, United Kingdom, India, Singapore, Malaysia, and the United States.

In Japan, we have been investing in logistics facilities since 2020. We completed the construction of our first property in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture in September 2022 and our second property in Saito, Ibaraki City, Osaka in June 2023. In January 2024, Orchid Two, a logistics core fund, was established with these two properties as seed assets.

In addition to the four major metropolitan areas (Kanto, Kansai, Nagoya, and Fukuoka), we are aiming to expand our assets under management by investing in logistics facilities located in major regional cities such as Sapporo, Sendai, Okayama, and Hiroshima.
